As my curiosity grew with the many mushroom species I would encounter in the forest. I decided to take my myco obession to another level and build a mushroom grow room.

Currently I grow 3 types of Oyster mushrooms as well as Lion’s mane.

In the works for spring, I will have a room dedicated for shiitake as well.

I’ve had this vision for years. To build a circular economy in this space. Limited to zero waste, using as many refurbished and repurposed supplies as I could. It started with a very close friend giving me a great deal on an old sea can. Bit by bit as I came across second hand parts I made it a fully functioning, mushroom fruiting chamber. It also has small inoculation lab.

I am extremely excited for the future as this project develops and grows. Thank you so much for supporting this. I hope you have been enjoying eating these mushrooms as much as I have been enjoying growing them!
